Top of the Week to All!

Hoping everyone had a wonderful weekend and will have a blessed and prosperous week! Well, it's that time of month again to do my monthly re-cap of what I wore. I didn't post as frequently as I typically do, this month. I've been working out after work and by the time I get home, I do not have the time or energy to change back into what I wore. So, I am going to try and take photos on my lunch break so that I can start posting more frequently again. Anywho, here's my looks for the month of April :-)

Please excuse the uneven layered photos. I was forced to use a new photo merging tool and it was a task to say the least..so apolgies :-) I'll do better next time around....

Weekend Wear: Hunter Green Blazer

Hello All !

So, this post is from about a month or two ago...I never got around to posting it. This particular weekend, one of my good friends came to Philly to visit. We had a wedding appointment to attend, went for sushi, and made a pit stop into Betty Brown Dessert Boutique. The cupcakes are TO DIE FOR!!! I am a huge fan and have already told the hubby my 30th birthday cake MUST come from this place.....Anywho, this is what  I wore for our day of errands....nothing spectacular, just comfy and casual.

Top of the week to Everyone!
So, I've been so busy these past couple of days, I missed blogging. Today's look was all about being Comfy and Free! I've been working out every single day lately and I think I over did it yesterday. I woke up this morning sore in every nook and cranny possible...so heels weren't even an option. I needed something as comfy as a pair of sweatpants and t-shirt and in my book a maxi accomplished just that! Well, here was my look for today! Hope ya enjoy! XOXO

Sunday's Best: Spring Florals

Hi Ladies!
So, this was my look for Easter Sunday, I know I'm a tad bit late! I shopped my closet and came across this little floral dress, which in my opinion, screams Spring. It was a little chilly that morning, so I threw on a blazer for warmth. Hope ya like!  XOXO

I haven't worn heels this low in sooooo long, my feet were very appreciative :-)

Causal Wear: Minty Fresh

Greetings To All! Hoping everyone had a HAPPY Easter and a Blessed weekend!

I didn't have a chance to photograph my Easter Sunday look, so maybe I will throw it back on one day this week to take pictures. The hubby and I went to Cheesecake Factory Sunday morning for brunch and it was delish. I wasn't in the mood to cook dinner, so we ordered take-out at a local soul food restaraunt, here in Philly called, "Relish". It hit the spot and I didn't have dishes and a kitchen to clean up afterwards :-) I was able to rest and relax...my kind of day! Well anywho, today I decided to rock my pastels. I am loving all of the soft pretty colors, that are in almost every fashion magazine I pick up and all over the blogsphere. Sooooooo, about these pictures.....all for the love of blogging, I braved the strong winds to get these pics. The winds were so strong; my clutch was blown off the top of my car and my tripod almost went flying! I tell ya, it was an experience to say the least.....but enough about my photography woe's and on to the pics! Hope you Enjoy! XOXO

Casual Wear: Red, White, and Blue

As some of you already know,  I've been trying my best to muster up enough courage to set up my tripod and take outdoor pictures. I've attempted this several times and chickened out every time. I know, I'm a HOT MESS and need to grow up! Lol..... However, today was a new day! I woke up on a mission and that mission was to take pics regardless of who was around! And guess what?! I DID IT!!!! Go me..Go me!!! Now, the downside of taking my own photographs, outdoors, for the first time is; I didn't realize I was standing in way too much sunlight in some of my photos. So some didn't come out the best.  Anywho, hope you enjoy  :-)

Today I went for a classic, comfy, and laid back look! No heels, minimal accessories, and a simple color palette.

Tic Tac Toe

Greetings Divas!!!!
I'm really enjoying reworking my closet. I love this skirt and knew when I saw it I had to have it! If you're interested, you can see how I styled this skirt previously here.  A friend of mine told me this skirt puts her in the mind of "tic tac toe". So, now that's exactly what I see when I look at it. :-)
