Top of the Week to All!

Hoping everyone's weekend was great. My weekend consisted of an impromptu trip to Target, H&M, and Forever 21. I purchased a fab peplum top from H& M( that I can't wait to wear), a top and bracelet from Forever 21 and house products from the lovely TarJay! Speaking of Tarjay, I am uberly excited about the debut of the Jason Wu line on Feb. 5th. Let's hope it isn't as nuts as the debut of the Missoni line back in September. Anywho, I feel so bad because I overslept for church Sunday but I did manage to tune in via the web. Well, this was my look of the day....

Hi Ladies!

So, I decided to take it back to my college days and rock a fresh pair of J's! I had every single pair of Jordan's known to man in my college days. Now, I still wore my heels, but sneakers were more my thing back then! Anywho, my awesome brother gifted me these for my birthday. I have the best bro ever!!!! I am definitely going to get great use out of these. An unknown fact about me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Michael Jordan! Since I was in my teens I had a thing for the tall, bald headed, chocolate man and I don't even like basketball....lol! Without further ado, here's my laid back look!

Red Blazer

So, yesterday I went wedding dress shopping with one of my bridesmaids. I fell in love with two dresses; one which is so my style and what I envisioned for my wedding day but the other is so OUT OF THE BOX for me! I am so torn and have no idea which way to go. I wish I could purchase both but that's soooo not an option....Decisions, Decisions! My mother is coming up in two weeks to look at the dresses again, so hopefully that will help me make a final decision. I'm so torn....

Cognac Leather Pants

Good Evening to All !

I went out for date night, tonight. I purchased these cognac leather pants back in September and haven't had an opportunity to wear them....so I figured why not tonight ?! For those of you who follow my youtube channel, you may remember them from one of my hauls. But anywho, this is what I wore...

I didn't realize my little foot peds were showing until after viewing the pics..so please excuse :-) 

Initially I wasn't too sure about the teal/blue clutch with this look but I kind of liked the contrast, so I went with it....

I am getting ALOT of wear out of this faux fur vest...LOVES it!!!

Pink and Tan

This weekend I also celebrated my engagement and it was so much fun! We found this Cuban place called Mixto, the food was so GREAT!!!! After dinner we went to Bleu Martini for some dancing..it felt good because I haven't been out dancing in years! It was definitely good times all around. This was my look for the night. WARNING: Post is a lil' pic heavy...

FYI: I used my digital camera, instead of my Canon DSLR, because it's a lot easier to tote around, so apologies for the quality of some of the pics.

Hot Pink Blazer

Greetings Ladies!!!

One of my friend's came to visit and our weekend consisted of a lot of shopping, eating, and bridal gown searching. I've finally come to terms with the fact that I need to get closer to my ideal weight before trying on anymore gowns...the Holiday eating def. worked a number on me! But I am back and focused! Anywho, Thursday night we went to one of the best Sushi places in Philly, called Vic Sushi Bar in Rittenhouse Square. It was AMAZING!!! If you're ever in the Philadelphia area and looking for sushi this is a great place to visit. Well, here is what I wore...I kept it casual and added a little fun to my look with the bow tie and pink blazer.

I ordered the Sansom Roll....So GOOD!!!

I finally learned how to use chopsticks!!! WOO HOO!!!  :-)

We went to Catahoula for pecan pie afterwards.
