Anywho, this is a dress that I ordred from Etsy, this past winter and never got around to wearing it. So, today I popped it on and kept the accessories minimal. This was my look....

Boho Chic with an Edge

Greetings All!!

Keeping this one short and sweet! I wanted to toughen my look up a bit, so I added some edge with the booties and the Biker Jacket! I actually love this skirt. I love the movement when I walk and the material is a little heavy, so it's appropriate for the Fall months. Sorry for the office pictures...was headed to the gym after work...so had to get it in when I could! Well, hoping you all have a GREAT weekend! XOXO

This is what I wore for our little date night. Vintage Loving: Lady in Red

Greetings All!

Red happens to be another favorite color of mine, even though I do not wear much of it. I purchased this dress from Etsy this past winter! I am trying my best to hold on to what little bit of summer we have left this week :-( ....Wish we had a couple more weeks of nice weather but doesn't look like that's going to happen. Anywho, I went for the monochromatic look this time around. Hope Ya Like! XOXO

I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Cherrie Amour for awarding me the Liebster blogger award! So appreciative. Make sure you ladies check out her blog! She is quite the fashionista.

Corporate Chic: Little Black Dress

Hi Ladies!

Hoping everyone's week is going well!

I was on a search for another LBD. I wanted one that can suffice for various settings; whether it be date night, a day in the office, or a casual look. When I spotted this dress on one of my recent trips to H&M, I knew this was what I was looking for. Another "MUST HAVE" for every girl's closet is an LBD. You can style it soooo many ways and can turn it from day to night very easily. Here was my work look for today!
I kept my accessories and overall look pretty simple. (The belt and shoes may appear turquoise but they're actually green.)
I know I really need to work on my poses but I just draw a blank when picture time comes and I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard. So, I typically stick with what I know and feel comfortable with...but I will try to switch it up guys :-)
Sorry for the blurry photos....just couldn't get it right and didn't have much time to retake them :-/
When I saw these pumps, I fell in love with the color....
I finally found the perfect metallic nail polish and it's Sally Hansen-Celeb City. Some of the other metallic nail polishes I've tried just didn't quite work with my complexion...
Check out my recent Thrifting Finds... :-)

Vintage Loving: Mint Green

Blessings to all on this Wonderful Sunday! Hoping everyone's week has started off great!

Church was AMAZING today! God truly spoke to my heart! The text was John 15:1-5 and the title was, "Growing Pains". The message spoke about how growing pains shapes us and molds us into who  and what God has called us to be! God didn't save us for us to sit and stay in the condition he found us in. So, he will shake our lives up to rid us of the things that are blocking us from moving into God's plan and purpose for our lives.  So, it is so important for us to just HOLD ON, no matter what happens in our life. We may not understand what God is doing while we're going through it and may not at times, like it..... but keeping faith and continuing to praise God despite what we're going through, is worth the reward in the end. When the growth is over, we will be who God intended us to be. It humbles me so much when I KNOW God is talking to me and sent that word directly to me....feeling tremendously Blessed and Grateful on this Sunday!

Anywho, on to what I wore.....When I saw this dress, I thought nothing of it but liked the color, so decided to try it on and once I tried it on..I fell in love with it. I decided to add a couple of splashes of pink to give it some umph...Hope Ya like! I realized after taking pics that this dress doesn't photograph well. It looks so much better in person!
I wish my necklace was about two inches longer...but hey, I worked with what I had :-)
I know the dress material looks satin but it is 100% raw silk.....the camera adds that sheen to it.
Love these shoes, they may be one of my favorite pairs of shoes! These were my birthday shoes last year and that was the first and last time I've worn them. So, when I purchased this dress, I was trying to decide what shoes I'd wear with it and I was leaning towards my nude pumps, then I saw my lil' hot pink babies sitting on the shelve and knew I had to wear them! I was a little hesitant at first, because I feel that due to the satin fabric it makes the shoe a little more formal. However, I still wore them! I felt great in my hot pink satin shoes :-)
